Where others see waste, we see valuable resources

The Gunnedah Resource Recovery Facility is a waste management and resource recovery facility that will have two locations in the Gunnedah region. The first location is at Mary’s Mount Quarry, which has been approved and is currently operational. This site is responsible for processing and disposing of a range of waste types, including construction and demolition waste, commercial and industrial waste, and concrete.

The second location is yet to be approved, and its proposed site is within the Gunnedah Industrial precinct. This new site would provide additional capacity for resource recovery from waste and would allow for the continued growth of the Gunnedah region. Both locations are critical to the management of waste in the area and play a vital role in ensuring a sustainable future for the region
